Welcome to Tervit.com
Welcome to Tervit.com. Our intention is to spread information about the history and current status of our family line.
Here you can find (and submit!) information about family events: births, marriages, graduations, etc. Photographs are, of course, always welcome.
We're also trying to chart the family tree (see the Genealogy link, under modules on the left) and hopefully link up all those Tervits, Tarvits and relatives out there!
By becoming a member you can: Submit news stories and photographs, access details about living members of the family in the tree (this is normally hidden for security reasons), chat to other family members, find relatives from around the world, and help us to build the family tree. Best of all, it's free!
Legal notice: Access to the secure areas of this website are limited to members of the Tervit/Tarvit family lines.

 | Website on the move |
The website is moving (again)... this time from simplyhosting onto a local web server here in Australia, which will make it much easier to manage.
Whilst this upgrade takes place, some functions may be intermittent and email alerts/password changes/new accounts will NOT WORK.
I'm working on it... it'll only take a few days.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

The names "Tarvit", "Tervit" and "Tervet" and variants all come from a location in Fife known as Tarvit. This was named after Henry de Taruethe.
